See What 60 Days of Pushups, Pullups and Planks Did to This Guy’s Body

youtuber Brendan-Jonesone half of vlogging sibling duo Goal Guys, underwent a body transformation last year that saw him get down and get naked in 100 days. Since then, she has been able to maintain the results he achieved through diet and exercise, and is now looking for “incremental” ways to continue improving his personal fitness. In a new video, she documents her experience of doing additional push-ups, pull-ups and ab exercises every day for a 60-day period to see what effect it has on her strength and body composition.

In addition to his regular workout, Jones begins doing an additional 15-minute workout each morning that comprises 3 sets of 15 push-ups, 3 sets of 45-second core planks, and 3 sets of 8 pull-ups. He also does band pulls with his left hand to build some strength in that arm, which will help add balance to his upper body exercises.

“The only thing that has been a bit difficult is motivating myself to get to the second practice of the night, which is always the hardest practice of the day,” he says. However, as he remains consistent in his training, Jones soon begins to see results, particularly in increased upper-body strength: five weeks into the challenge, his ability to do muscle ring it has improved.

“I’m halfway there and I already feel so much stronger, it’s shocking,” he says. “When I started I did 15 push-ups, now I’ve moved that up to 4 sets of 20 and can do it comfortably. Pull-ups have progressed from 2 sets of 8 to 4 sets of 10… I’ve also found I can use this workout high-frequency to focus on things like getting better at my ring pull-ups, working on explosive pull-ups.
