Keiko Guest doesn’t look like your average 72-year-old.

Instead of putting on comfortable shoes to sit and have a cuppa, the retiree spends her time doing push-ups and handstands as part of her fitness regimen, and her youthful looks have made her a social media star.

Despite being old enough to claim her bus pass, Keiko, from Atlanta, Georgia, USA, is regularly mistaken for a 20-something on tik tokwhere he has amassed nearly 500,000 followers.

To stay in shape, the fit septuagenarian, who has no children and is currently single, alternates two to three hours of gymnastics, dance, ballet and weight training a week.

But his real secret? Eat a plant-based diet and avoid alcohol.

‘I present my body not out of vanity, but because I feel good and I work very hard,’ said Keiko.

“People tell me I look great for my age, but men don’t approach me because I stay away from bars.”

Keiko says that she is “absolutely fine” without a man in her life.

“Instead, I focus on myself and do things for myself and my health,” she added. “Keeping fit has been a priority of mine since I was 30 and will continue to be.”

While Keiko admits to having a facelift at 50 and dabbling in Botox, her body still looks amazing thanks to her dedication to exercise.

As for her diet, she opts for raw ingredients but also likes to add seafood and dairy and tries not to be too restrictive.

She said: ‘I mostly try to eat something raw every day. I think it’s mainly about moderation.

Keiko’s age-defying appearance has stunned social media users, with many saying she looks in her 20s.

‘I don’t look so good and I’m 35 years old. Go ahead girl!’ one user wrote, while another said: ‘Girl you’re not 72 you’re more like 22’.

However, in addition to praise, Keiko receives a number of negative comments about her clothing choices and the fact that she doesn’t fit what we would expect from an older woman.

‘Have a hamburger,’ reads a cruel comment.

Another said: ‘You look great for your age and you also seem very healthy. Please stop wearing clothes like you’re 16 because it looks silly.

However, Keiko tries not to be affected by this.

She said: ‘Unfortunately, I’ve received a lot of hate from people who have a need to express their disapproval of me.

I put it down to jealousy and ageism.
