Telemedicine service ‘eSanjeevani’ integrated with Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission – ET HealthWorld


New Delhi: National Health Authority (NHA) Announced the merger on Friday IsanjivaniThe Telemedicine service Of the Union Ministry of Health, with its master plan Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).

Integration allows existing users of Isanjivani to easily create Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) And use it to link and manage their existing health records, such as prescriptions and lab reports.

Users will also be able to share their health records with doctors on eSanjeevani which will help in better clinical decision making and ensuring continuity of care.

Speaking about the importance of this integration, Dr. R.S. Sharma, CEO, NHA, said: “ABDM aims to build a digital highway in India to bridge the gap between existing digital health solutions and stakeholders. Can link to and store in Health Locker. “

Users can also share their previously linked health records with doctors on eSanjivani, making the entire consultation process paperless, he said.

The eSanjeevani service is available in two variants. The first is Isanjiv’s Ayushman Bharat-Health and Wellness Center (AB-HWC) – a doctor-to-doctor telemedicine service through which beneficiaries visiting HWC can virtually connect with doctors and specialists.

Another variant, eSanjivani OPD is serving patients across the country, connecting them directly to doctors from the comfort of their home.

Both versions have been integrated with the ABDM platform.
