Running is another fairly basic movement pattern. If you want to improve your aerobic base and increase your endurance, start including running in your routine.

What you can do if you’re a beginner is build up to a jog, aiming for ¼ or ½ mile, walk, catch your breath and repeat. However, if you’re a little more fit, start with mile runs and focus on improving your pace, speed, and distance each week.
