The risk of diabetes increases not only because of eating sweets, but also because of this habit.

Diabetes is becoming a common disease today. Most people think sugar is to blame. It is also true that eating too much sugar causes diabetes, but in a new study, scientists have found that using plastic bottles also poses a risk of diabetes. There are dangerous chemicals there that can cause dangerous illnesses.

This study, published in the journal Diabetes, found that the chemical BPA is used in the manufacture of food and drink sachets, which are found in plastic water bottles. To balance sugar in the body, the hormone can reduce insulin sensitivity. Let us know what the research says...

Previous studies have found that bisphenol A (BPA) is used in the manufacturing of plastics and epoxy resins, which can disrupt the balance of hormones in the body. For the first time, BPA was linked to diabetes in research, but it has not been directly tested in any studies before.

Scientists at California Polytechnic State University said this is the first study of its kind in which BPA is predicted to increase the risk of type 2 diabetes.

Scientists at California Polytechnic State University said this is the first study of its kind to find that BPA increases the risk of type 2 diabetes.

In the study, researchers included 40 healthy participants and formed two groups. One group received a placebo and the other received 50 micrograms of BPA per kilogram of body weight daily. In which insulin sensitivity decreased after four days in those taking BPA, while this did not occur in the inactive substance placebo.

The study indicates that the risk of BPA can be reduced by using stainless steel or glass bottles, which may reduce the risk of diabetes. Plastic bottles should be avoided whenever possible. Let us tell you that in another study recently published in Eco-Environment and Health Journal, it was found that plastic water bottles exposed to sunlight can release dangerous chemicals, which can cause cancer, such as n-hexadecane.
