What is the difference between HMPV and Corona?
Both HMPV and Corona are viruses. However, the two are very different. Corona was a new virus, due to which there was no immunity to fight it. However, HMPV is a virus from the paramyxovirus family, which is already present. It was identified in 2001. The most important thing is that the HMPV virus can only infect people with weak immunity or children under 5 years old. The same, corona virus Has the ability to infect even people with strong immunity.

- Like Corona, HMPV can also be tested by RT-PCR. This is the most accurate method.
- A culture test can also be performed for its identification. The virus is identified by growing it in cell culture, which takes three to four days.
- The presence of the virus can also be detected by antibodies present in the blood.
