What should not be eaten in PCOS?
- According to Ayurveda, in case of PCOS problem, women especially should reduce the use of dairy products.
- Milk and curd should not be used in these too.
- Paneer and cheese etc. can be eaten in limited quantity.
- Whereas buttermilk should be consumed in abundance.
- You can also eat fresh butter derived from desi ghee and buttermilk every day as they help in improving the overall health of the body.
Why dairy products should not be eaten in PCOS?
It has been said in Ayurveda that dairy products, especially milk and curd, increase the tendency of phlegm in the body. Mainly they increase Kapha circulation in the gastrointestinal tract and the increased amount of Kapha increases cyst related problems, due to which they cause problems in pregnancy.
Although in Ayurveda, milk has got the place of a complete food, but at the same time it has also been told that in which situation milk causes harm instead of benefit. This is the best thing about Ayurveda that it gives ways to stay healthy on the basis of food and drink.
This question will definitely come in your mind that when you do not want to eat milk and curd, then how can you consume plenty of buttermilk and ghee, these are also dairy products?
