Getting a defined six-pack is no easy task. It requires time, dedication, strength, commitment and many sacrifices. However, it doesn’t require an endless number of reps or pushing yourself like there’s no tomorrow.
In fact, there are many short, quick and easy exercises to define and tone your abs. training that will help you achieve the best results in less time, and without having to go to unsustainable extremes. (Many actors and other celebrities embark on brutal routines for a particular movie or other event, then abandon them when they find the effort involved too much.)
AthleanX Expert Trainer Jeff Cavaliere shared a video on his YouTube channel where he talks about burning belly fat and a simple four-minute routine created by a Japanese expert and influencer named Hiiragi Sensei that will help you achieve your own Apollo belt. in five months (this is a process that requires a commitment).
How to Get a Six-Pack With This 4-Minute Japanese Routine
Cavaliere begins by explaining why the four-minute routine is essential, but not enough if your goal is a six-pack.
In Hiiragi’s case, he decided to train for four minutes every day using the Tabata method, where he works out at a high intensity for 20 seconds and then rests for ten seconds before doing another set or moving on to the next exercise.
Hiiaragi’s chosen exercise was burpees, and his plan was to do them every day, including weekends, for a period of five months. As Cavaliere points out, Hiiragi’s burpees remove one aspect to make them easier: his chest doesn’t reach the ground, but it’s still a metabolically demanding exercise.
Hiiragi’s plan was to steadily increase the number of repetitions in the 20 seconds of activity divided by ten seconds of rest. During the four-minute time frame, he went from doing five full reps to eight, without skipping a single day of his routine (this is important). With this progressive increase, Hiiragi was able to gain more muscle and also worked on his stamina and speed.
