According to Jessica Oliphant, deputy director of the FDA’s National Center for Toxicology Research, laboratory tests have shown that the drug has a vital link to several brain receptors. However, research does not show whether Bond causes harmful side effects from the drug. Previous research also found that the drugs entered the brains of rats. Singulair is sold by Merck & Co. It is a prescription medication introduced in 1998. According to the Cleveland Clinic, this medication is used to prevent and treat symptoms of asthma and allergies by reducing inflammation of the respiratory tract and facilitating their breathing.
Singulair is sold under other names such as Montelukast, Montelukastna, Montelukast Sodium. According to Reuters, early advertisements for the drug indicated that it had mild side effects.
