A 53-year-old woman from Swindon had been suffering from joint pain for months. She was constantly experiencing a drop in her energy level. But despite giving medicine, the woman’s condition kept on deteriorating. She once again got herself examined by a doctor, in which it was revealed that the woman had myeloma cancer. Along with this, acute kidney failure was also detected. The woman’s son told that his mother remained aware of her health throughout her life. Used to do yoga every week. She also used to take her dog out for a walk. Overall she followed a good routine. 

The woman told that she used to have a lot of cough and pain. This disease was eating away at his bones. In 2020, the woman had complained of knee pain. Although the doctor did not take it seriously. She was given just one injection and asked to come back every three months.

Myeloma is the third most common type of blood cancer. This is a rare disease, which affects the plasma cells in the body. Myeloma damages bones, body’s ability to fight diseases, kidney and red blood cell count. Often people do not pay attention to the symptoms of this disease, because they think that this is happening due to increasing age. Myeloma mostly affects people 65 years and older. However, many times this disease is also seen in the youth. Myeloma is an incurable disease, which can only be kept under control by treatment and medicines.
