With 558 locations all over the United States, trader joe has made its mark on the supermarket space, enticing customers with unique products, affordable prices and famously friendly employees. And the cult-favorite supermarket chain shows no signs of slowing down.
As confirmed in his websiteTrader Joe’s will expand its portfolio of locations with new stores scheduled to open from coast to coast.

In the Mid-Atlantic region, the grocery store will open its 10th Maryland location in College Park, which will also be the first Trader Joe’s to come to Prince George’s County. Located at 4429 Calvert Road, the new store will open on October 27 at 8 am following a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The 11,000-square-foot grocery store, which is located next to the University of Maryland, will feature murals of the university buildings and football stadium, as well as the College Park airport. Although Trader Joe’s has hired more than 100 employees to work at the new location, The Hyattsville Wire reported that the store is still looking to hire more crew members, with positions posted online here.
On the West Coast, Utah will get its fourth Trader Joe’s in Draper. Rumors about the inauguration began to circulate on Reddit A month ago, some users reported that team members at their local stores told them about the news.
However, nothing was official until October 14 when Troy K. Walker, mayor of Draper, Utah, confirmed the opening in a facebook post. The Draper store, located at 1149 State Street, is expected to open in early 2023, and Walker writes that “more details will be shared soon.”
Going even further west, Trader Joe’s confirmed end of august which will open its 10th Oregon location at 16200 SW Pacific Highway in Tigard. While Nakia Rohde, Trader Joe’s public relations manager, said the company doesn’t have a timeline to share, the grocery chain plans to open the Tigard location later in 2022.
Rounding out the lineup of upcoming openings is a store coming to Providence, RI According to WPRITrader Joe’s shared in early August that a store will be opening at 425 South Main Street, though no additional details have been provided. Rhode Island currently has only one Trader Joe’s, which is located on Bald Hill Road in Warwick.
