JP Nadda, Union Health Minister of India, unveils three new public health initiatives in Delhi – National Capital Region (NCR), in the presence of Ministers of State Jadhav Prataprao Ganpatrao and Anupriya Singh Patel. The Union Minister is all set to launch a virtual assessment of National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) for Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAMs), a dashboard for Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS) and a spot food licensing scheme for food vendors, the Health Ministry said in a statement.

National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS)
the virtual NQAS assessment for AAM subcentres will represent a significant innovation in the quality assurance framework of public health facilities as a time and cost saving measure. Through this system, the virtually evaluated AAM health sub-center will obtain the NQAS certificate.

Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS)

To expedite this process, the ministry has developed a dashboard that will help national, state and district health institutions and health centers to quickly monitor compliance against IPHS standards and take action accordingly.
