visceral fat it is invisible because it adheres to the internal organs that sit deep within the abdominal activity. However, a protruding belly and large waist are indicative of large amounts of fat. The condition is linked to an increased risk of insulin resistance and diabetes, which in turn affects the risk of heart disease and some types of cancer. Fortunately, a drink could flush out toxins from the body and help rid the body of harmful ones by inhibiting fat storage.

A 2008 study published in the medical journal Nutrition Research and Practice indicated that dandelion might act as a lipase inhibitor.
Lipase inhibitors play a key role in human fat metabolism and work by decreasing the gastrointestinal absorption of lipids.
The findings support the flower’s medicinal use as a natural alternative to certain weight-loss medications.
In fact, the researchers from the Korean study reported in the journal Nutrition Research and Practice that these effects prevented weight gain around the waist just as effectively as the drug Orlistat.
Additional tests investigating the effects of dandelion extract on mice revealed similar results, prompting calls for more research into the plant’s potential anti-obesity effects.
The inhibitory effects have been attributed to the polyphenols in the beverage, which block the activity of an enzyme needed to break it down during digestion.
This could prevent up to 25 percent of the fat consumed from being absorbed.
Additionally, dandelion’s anti-inflammatory properties may be beneficial for weight loss, since chronic inflammation is linked to weight loss.
The authors of a medical article published in Nutrition Reviews in 2012 explained: “Emerging evidence suggests that dandelion and its components have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities that result in various biological effects.”
To reap the benefits of dandelion tea for weight loss, Miss Kubiliute recommends regular consumption of the tea.
She explained: “Make sure the daily intake of the herbal remedy […], at least one cup a day to maintain consistency. You can also consider a 20-30 minute exercise session and a healthy diet for faster results.”
In fact, regular moderate-intensity exercise for at least 30 minutes on most days can significantly help reduce waist circumference.
