It turns out that lifting weights is a key part of the SI Swimsuit model’s workout routine.
Another day, another training with Kate Upton.
In his latest Instagram post, Upton’s trainer, Ben Brunoshared a video of the model crushing him with heavy deadlifts. The post was accompanied by a sweet caption about how far he was from three times. Swimsuit YES cover model has arrived at the gym.
“I used to be very squeamish about lifting heavy weights but now she is the one asking me to increase the weight,” Bruno wrote. “Strength training does wonders for the body and mind. I love seeing the transformation.”

Nearly 15,000 fans who liked the video are proud of Kate for putting in the effort too. Bruno asked Upton to add more reps in the middle of a set and she didn’t go for it! “A deal is a deal,” she said with a smilelowering the bar after originally promising five reps.
“Strength training is good for the body (and mind),” Bruno wrote in the caption over the video. “The trap bar deadlift is a great exercise to work your legs and glutes without putting undue stress on your lower back.”
Upton was practicing his trap bar deadlift, as well as a variation, the staggered trap bar deadlift, meant to strengthen one leg at a time. He did it all while wearing a skirt, which one fan commented makes her a “certified bada-s.”
