The incident occurred around 11:45 a.m. on Saturday near the O’Coqueiro intersection in the porvorim neighborhood, and the man was taken into custody, according to police inspector Anant Gaonkar, who added that the attacker had a history of mental illness.

“As the car came to a traffic light, the defendant on a motorcycle approached the car and blocked it,” a police officer said.
