Watch Tracee Ellis Ross (And Her Killer Arms) Complete A Gyrotonic Workout On IG

  • But that’s not all Tracee does to stay in shape: She’s a huge fan of the Tracy Anderson Method, and strength trains regularly.

Tracee Ellis Ross he’s always mixing up his workouts. And in some new videos on her Instagram Stories, the 49-year-old woman Blackish star shared videos of herself doing a Gyrotonic Method (also known as Gyrotonics) workout. According to the Gyrotonic Method Website, is “an original and unique method of movement that targets the whole person by opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and improving strength and efficiency of movement.”

In the videos, Tracee wore a gray T-shirt and striped leggings as she was instructed virtually by an instructor. And in the clips, she can be seen stretching and performing different moves on her Gyrotonic equipment. When he finishes his training, he lets out a “Wow!”

Tracee has been taking Gyrotonics for a long time. In October of 2012, she posted a photo of herself exercising with Gyrotonics to Facebook.

And she also posted a picture of her on Pinterest sporting a super stylish workout fit while wearing his Gyrotonics gear. “The Gyrotonic system is a holistic approach to movement that works for anyone who wants to gain strength, flexibility, and coordination,” he wrote.

In addition to Gyrotonics, Tracee also loves doing Tracy Anderson Method exercises. Like Gyrotonics, he has been taking his classes for more than a decade. She said Health in 2017 that her workouts with Anderson have been “really good” for her. “It seems to me that as adults we stay so regimented in our movement, even if we get on a treadmill,” he told the publication. “The music changes all the patterns, and my body moves freely, so you feel amazing, which is also ultimately the goal of the workouts.”
