Even though most of the people in India are not aware about the harm caused by Mercury, but due to the hassle, many people have distanced themselves from it. Measuring body temperature with a digital thermometer is much easier than with a mercury thermometer. This is the reason that gradually the mercury thermometers have disappeared from homes. But it is necessary that we should spread maximum awareness about it among the people so that accidents can be prevented.
