White House doctor says Biden well enough to resume exercise

White House physician Kevin O’Connor said Tuesday that President Joe Biden completed his five-day course of the antiviral Covid Paxlovid and “now feels well enough to resume his physical exercise regimen.”

Reiterating his update from Monday, O’Connor said the president’s symptoms had “almost completely resolved” and his pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate and temperature remained “absolutely normal.”

The doctor did not notice any lingering symptoms that the president, who tested positive for covid late last week, is still experiencing.
