Work 4 days a week, rest days off, these companies even implemented the rule

Most of the companies currently have a rule of 5 working days in a week. However, there are many places where employees are still made to work six days a week. Now the world has moved forward. Times have changed. Now there is a demand that a policy of working only 4 days a week should be brought. In India too, changes have been made in the Labor Code (Labour Law) for working for 4 days but it has not been implemented yet. Recently, this issue was raised very well on the platform of the World Economic Forum. Big veterans said that, to save the world, to save people’s health, to save people from becoming mentally ill, then the formula of 4 days working and 3 days off has to be implemented. Not only this, examples of those companies were also given who implemented this model and got amazing results.

There should be a review of the working person for 5 days.

For the first time in the year 1926, Henry Ford, the owner of Ford Motor Company, started 5-day working in his company. He believed that by doing this his employees would become more productive (output). Along with this, if people have time then they will be able to spend their money. Courting this, Adam Grant (Organizational Psychologist and Author) from the platform of the World Economic Forum said, ‘About 100 years ago when Henry Ford, understanding the need of his company and people, introduced 5-day working. Gave the formula, now it needs to be reviewed after 100 years. After all why are we stuck on 5 day working? There is a need to talk and think again on this issue. He said that companies in many countries are working on this, but there should be more talk on this.

In India, the central government has brought a new labor code. However, this has not been implemented so far. If this is implemented, then the employees may have to work for 12 hours daily. Employees will have to work only for 48 hours in a week, that is, if they work for 12 hours in 1 day, then they will have to work only for four days in a week and the remaining three days will be their holiday. These 4 new labor codes have been prepared by the Central Government by combining 44 Central Labor Acts. Even many companies are preparing for it, so that it can be adopted when the 4-day working model is implemented.
