In a before-and-after photo posted to Instagram, a noticeably slimmer Ford shared an update on his body transformation as he shifts focus from bodybuilding to boxing, revealing he’s lost nearly 60 pounds in the last six months, going from 360 pounds to 302.
“Lifting heavy weights VS Boxing,” he wrote. “In October I started this journey, and like everything I’ve ever done in life that I really wanted to do, I’ve given absolutely ALL of it and more. This is not the first change of direction for the British bodybuilder. He has extensive experience in the sport, having competed nationally in track and field, shot put, javelin and cricket during his teenage years. It was only after his budding career as a professional athlete came to an abrupt halt following an injury that he finally set his sights on bodybuilding.
Ford is following something of a trend when it comes to huge guys who go into boxing: strong men.
