Yashma was a guest on Freiha Altaf’s FWhy and spoke about how she was diagnosed with depression at the age of 21. She shared that her family situation did play a role, as her father had two homes and was married twice. Her father is a very fair man and he always balanced the two houses, but when he was a child, when he saw movies about these situations or heard certain discussions at home, he took them differently. Her older brother was also very strict when she was in school and all of these things combined influenced her mental health.
