According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA), trauma is an emotional or physical response to one or more harmful or life-threatening events or circumstances with lasting adverse effects on your mental and physical well-being. However, few know that through yoga, you can begin to develop a sense of security and find healing by connecting with your mind and body in a way that feels safe.
In an exclusive interview with HT Lifestyle, Spiritual Yoga Guru Rajesh Singh Maan (or Acharya Advait Yogbhushan as he is popularly known), shed the secrets of the human body and revealed the practice using our body systems that can help to recover from any problem mental and physical trauma. “These secrets are so small that they cannot be understood without paying close attention to them,” he said.
Feed your body with oxygen:
According to Acharya Advait Yogbhushan, we are a machine, a perfect machine that runs on energy and natural resources. “We as humans need a fuel in the first place to keep our system running, even without food or water, for several days. This fuel is oxygen, “he said.
When comparing the human body with the machines created by us that use gasoline or diesel as the main fuel to keep them running, Rajesh pointed out that along with it, many other things are required. “If there is fuel in the tank but the fuel injectors can stop working or not work properly, then the whole engine can fail and the same with humans,” he compared.
Rajesh added: “There is a lot of fuel in the atmosphere for us to breathe in, but what if our lungs fail to extract enough to carry the fuel to other systems in the body, not just to keep us alive?”
Channel the ⅔ of your lungs capacity:
According to him, the lungs or respiration is the first system that is cared for very well, even to have good blood circulation in the heart or positive thinking in the brain. “Only if the lungs extract a sufficient amount of oxygen from the atmosphere and send it to the heart, is it possible to satisfy our brain; otherwise, the brain may not function properly, “he warned.
Rajesh emphasized: “Our body ages regularly due to many natural forces applied to us, such as gravity. When we lose the alignment of our body with the gravitational force, aging begins to occur faster than normal and we begin to find more chronic diseases than normal ”.
Raising awareness of the fact that from the moment of birth to death we never activate 100% of the capacity of our lungs, which means that God or nature offers only a limited capacity to function as a normal human being, Rajesh highlighted the fact that we generally use only 2/3 of our lungs. It also revealed that our central nervous system involuntarily struggles with friction caused by gravity and tries to change the line of the center of gravity that passes through our body.
Therefore, all major problems of the spine, digestion or reproductive system occur due to the misalignment of the body with the most powerful force: gravity.
Activates the brain:
Acharya Advait Yogbhushan then revealed how the brain is constantly aware of this change, so it keeps trying to recover the damage and uses a lot of energy in terms of secreting a large amount of pain relievers, known as endorphins. “Along with it, the brain is trying to recover the damage and uses more energy generated by you to increase your immunity and other recovery systems. So when the brain is busy most of the time saving you from unconscious damage, using most of the fuel, our lungs cannot deliver enough oxygen to neurons to make you creative and happy, ”he shared.
Become a metahuman:
“To become a metahuman, one must focus on activating as many alveoli as present in our lungs and must learn techniques to avoid the impacts of powerful gravity on our body,” Rajesh reported. He added: “Our body is the best pharmacy, our brain can alter and develop new genes at any age if we allow it a greater supply of fuel.”
However, he cautioned: “Just remember that inhaling with a lot of pressure is not the way at all. By doing so, you are damaging their soft alveoli. ” Sharing the method of reversing the damage, Rajesh instructed: “The main work begins with correcting the shoulders by realigning them so that the pressure on the rib cage is reduced.”
Then he recommended: “One should work on the intercostal muscle group to make them flexible, which will allow the diagram to expand the rib cage easily without wasting additional energy. In doing so, a person will begin to become divinely conscious about the rest of the body’s workings and the mind will begin to enter a state of no-mind where eternal peace is discovered.
He concluded that by being aware of the above explanation and applying simultaneous practices, one can allow his more powerful brain to eradicate any physical or mental trauma and become a metahuman.
