OTK co-owner Matthew “Mizkif” took to his Twitch stream to open up about his mental health struggles following his involvement in the sexual assault cover-up drama earlier this year. For those unaware, Mizkif was accused of downplaying Adriana Lee accusations of being sexually harassed by crazylicka fellow streamer and close associate of Matthew.
After the matter became public, Matthew released a public statement apologizing for his laid-back attitude at the time of the incident. He also took a month’s sabbatical from broadcasting (from which he has now returned).
In his last broadcast, he opened up about his exhausting state of mind as he confessed:
“You have no idea how depressed I really am”
Mizkif reveals that he considered entering a “mental room”
In a stream uploaded yesterday, the 27-year-old spoke about his struggles. When one of the viewers pointed out that he seemed “unhappy”, Matthew responded by saying:
“Sure, but I’m severely depressed.”
He continued:
“I’ve been depressed. I’ve never been like this in my life. I was going to go to a psych ward, but I realized I’d already been to one and I hated it and it made my life miserable.” .”

He also revealed that he has been facing a lot of stress-induced issues. He said:
“I need to get out of here, trust me, it’s okay. You have no idea what mask I put on… I’m scared, I’m really scared… I went like this (gesturing to her hair) in my hair today and I I was like this… I pulled out about 30 hairs… it really wasn’t normal.”
He added:
“It was like, ‘Shit! I’m going bald.'” I think it could be stress, but it was actually terrifying how much hair he had lost. It was probably a solid 100.”
while transmitting, Mizkif he also revealed that he will be flying to Japan soon. He mentioned that he needed a break from the drama that had haunted him for a long period of time.
