Ziggi’s Coffee to host fundraiser supporting first responders’ mental health

Ziggi’s Coffee is hosting a fundraiser this weekend for a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring first responders can access essential resources for mental health and wellness.

Revital provides support and encouragement through services that benefit the mind, body and spirit of first responders, according to a Ziggi press release. On Sunday, the company will donate $1 to Revital for every drink sold in-store and through the mobile app at each Ziggi location.

The funds will help the Revital program provide resources, outings and retreats to first responders at no cost, according to the release.

“These people run into the situations most people run away from, and their mental health and well-being often take a backseat to their service. We are thrilled to host this fundraiser to support this organization and provide our communities with an opportunity to learn more about the everyday experiences of first responders,” Ziggi co-founder and CEO Brandon Knudsen said in the statement.

Additional donations made directly by customers during the fundraiser are accepted.

“I identified Ziggi’s as a great partner for this fundraiser because both of our missions are rooted in the community,” said Revital founder Jordan Long. “Everyone automatically feels welcome at Ziggi’s, you feel like family, and that’s our hope with Revital. When a first responder and their family connect with us, we want them to feel better about their journey knowing they have the full support of our organization.”
