Cancer Drug Prices : The government has given a big relief to those undergoing cancer treatment. In the 54th GST Council meeting held on Monday, the GST on drugs used in cancer treatment was reduced from 12% to 5%. With this decision, the cost of cancer treatment will be reduced. Earlier in the budget, the government had reduced customs duty on three important anti-cancer drugs to zero. After which there is no tax of any kind on these drugs. A large number of people will benefit from these two decisions.
