Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife beats stage 4 cancer with THIS diet; Is it enough to treat tumour? Here is what we know

Navjot Singh Sidhu recently shared that his wife, Navjot Kaur, is cancer-free. He further revealed about the diet plan that she followed.

Navjot Singh Sidhu recently spoke at a press conference and announced that his wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu is cancer free. The former MLS player was fighting cancer for more than a year. He was reportedly only given a 3 percent chance of survival. However, after following a strict dietary routine and lifestyle changes, she beat stage four cancer.

“She beat cancer not because we had money but because she was disciplined and followed a strict diet,” he said, adding that she was finally discharged from the hospital after 40 days.

Sidhu shared that Kaur started her day with lemon water, ate raw turmeric and consumed apple cider vinegar, neem leaves and tulsi. Citrus fruits and juices like pumpkin, pomegranate, amla, beetroot and walnuts were part of their daily diet. He added that cap berries are excellent against cancer.

Their morning tea included spices such as cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, jaggery and cardamom. Sidhu said he had dinner at 6:30 pm and had his first meal of the day at 10 am. His cooked meals included anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer foods and were prepared with coconut oil, cold-pressed oils or almond oil. Regarding his wife’s hydration, Sidhu said, “They only gave her water with a pH level of 7” and claimed that it was the most important part of her diet.

He claimed that fasting and a diet devoid of sugar and carbohydrates could kill cancer cells. This reportedly sparked a debate over cancer treatment.

Several experts have said that diet alone cannot replace traditional cancer treatment. Dr. Puneet Gupta, Chairman of Oncology at Asian Hospital, says, “Cancer cannot be cured by diet alone. However, dietary interventions are important for overall cancer care as patients are likely to suffer from anemia, weight loss and electrolyte imbalance,” he told Hindustan Times.

While this diet and routine, along with other modes of treatment, worked well for Navjot Kaur Sidhu, different cancer patients have different paths. It is best to consult your respective doctors to get a personalized diet chart and lifestyle practices to follow.
