About 70% of lung cancer patients live a little longer after treatment in the early stages. When the tumor has spread to other organs, that is, when it reaches the fourth stage, the survival rate for five years decreases to only 4 percent.

Later swelling on the lungs, coughing up blood, shortness of breath and pain are also its symptoms. If we talk about the treatment, then surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy are included. Based on the type, stage and other factors of the lung cancer, the doctor decides on the right treatment. If it is in the primary stage then the chances of recovery are high. If there is a last stage metastasis (spread of cancer to other parts of the body), then even after treatment, the patient is able to live for a few months or a few years.
