Sucralose is an artificial sweetener, which is 600 times sweeter than sugar and is used in various dishes and drinks. According to a study published in Nature Journal, the rats that were fed sucralose. They were given the equivalent of about 30 cups of sweetened coffee a day, which is equivalent to 10 cans of energy drink. Rats were given sucralose in high amounts. The study found that the mice were less capable of activating T-cells, which are a type of white blood cell, to fight infection or cancer. However, no effect was seen on the rest of the immune system cells.
