Disadvantages Of Cooking In Microwave: Nowadays most of the people have started using microwave oven for heating the food. Nutritionist Anjali Mukherjee told through a post on Instagram that like phones and computers, microwave ovens also emit radiation. By heating meat and milk in the microwave, carcinogens start forming in it, which cause dangerous diseases like cancer. Not only this, heating food in the microwave also damages the nutrients badly. By heating the food in the oven, even if the food becomes hot, but this food will not be able to give you as much nutrition as you could get before heating it in the microwave.
By heating food in the microwave, the essential vitamins and minerals present in it are destroyed. However, by using some tips, you can save the food from the damage caused by it.
1. You can use the microwave to heat food. But you should avoid cooking in it. Also avoid heating the food for a long time.
2. When you are heating food in the microwave, always keep a distance of 2 feet from it.
3. Minimize the use of microwave for cooking or don’t do it at all. Because it takes away the nutrition from the food and changes its taste to some extent.
If you want to get maximum nutritional value from food, then use traditional methods of cooking instead of microwave.
