Apple, Epic Systems partner to bring health record tool on macOS – ET HealthWorld


San Francisco: Apple Has partnered with a medical record company Epic Systems To bring the Health Record tool to macOS.

Apple wants Epic Systems to develop a native version of the tool for macOS, but the latter is instead working on one that will be easier to use than the native app, AppleInsider reports.

Epic Systems is the largest provider Electronic health records A 2021 report in the US claimed that more than 250 million patients’ medical records were held by Epic systems.

Last month, Apple’s latest update macOS Ventura introduced a “Continuity Camera” feature that allows users to connect their iPhone to a Mac and use it as a webcam with apps like FaceTime or Zoom.

With the new feature, users were able to use their iPhone as a web camera by wirelessly connecting it to their Mac.
