Treat arthritis with food
Lavneet further said, ‘Living with arthritis and tolerating swelling and pain in the joints is not easy. The daily life of Arthritis patients becomes difficult due to the immense pain in the joints. However, through dietary changes, inflammation can be reduced and help fight the disease. He has given five such herbs, which can be very helpful in dealing with arthritis.
Aloe Vera: This plant has anti-inflammatory properties. Its gel is full of anthraquinone which helps in relieving arthritis.
Turmeric: We all use turmeric to deal with inflammation. But it also works to give relief from arthritis. It contains curcumin, which acts as an anti-inflammatory.
Thyme Flowers: It has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties.
Ginger: Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties. Pain and swelling can be reduced by its use.
Garlic: We all use garlic in our food. But it is also very beneficial for arthritis patients. Garlic contains diallyl disulfide, which reduces things responsible for inflammation like cytokines.
