Psychological tricks can help you fall asleep faster:

  • Tip your brain – tell yourself you’re trying to stay awake for a few minutes instead of trying to fall asleep. If a dark, quiet bedroom fuels your thoughts, try listening to a low-volume audiobook or podcast, or imagine pleasant activities in your head to distract you from sleep.
  • Try to stay awake and meditate: During the day, try to stay awake instead of taking a nap and meditating in between. Meditation calms your body and you can relax by taking deep breaths. Taking your mind out of sleep and engaging it in other activities will allow your mind to focus instead of thinking about your sleep time over and over again. Once you stop taking naps in between then your sleep pattern will improve and very slowly you will start completing your sleep all at once.
  • Avoid using gadgets altogether: Using your gadgets during your sleep can have a very negative effect on your sleep quality. Try to get all your work out of bed and then go to sleep. People who carry mobiles around do not even know that the negative rays emitted from mobiles affect their health. Try traditional methods like reading, sketching or just drawing to keep yourself busy until you fall asleep. It is very important that you control your sleep cycle. It is very important for health.
