I am not someone who works out the same way every day. Call it boredom, call it lack of commitment, call it what you want, but I get tired of working out if I don’t change things up from time to time. That’s why I like to find new and exciting ways to exercise every day instead of buying fancy exercise equipment, even if it means exercising in the most unconventional way. I don’t think I’m alone in this either, but discovering the goal mission 2 It’s been a huge game changer.
I’ll admit I’ve seen and heard of people using VR headsets for exercise before, but I never tried a VR headset until I started using one for exercise. the known, well respected Meta Quest 2 It has converted me to the world of virtual reality, and it’s unlikely I’ll find myself running on a treadmill or watching yoga on YouTube again anytime soon.
In just a few short weeks, I’ve gone from boxing and striking mastery to training with a professional trainer in distant lands, dancing to my favorite ’90s hits, and running from would-be killers in virtual games. No two workouts are the same when you put on the Meta Quest 2 Headphones and escape to another world, even if it’s within the confines of your living room.
goal mission 2 It comes with a headset, two intuitive hand controls, and a charger. There are no annoying cables to deal with unlike other VR systems, so it makes getting around a breeze. And while I’ve never used a VR system before, it only took me about fifteen minutes to get it up and running, especially since the system loads fast. All I had to provide was my Facebook account and download the Oculus app, and from there it was all about selecting the best fitness apps to suit my specific training desires, whether it was dancing, yoga, cycling, boxing. o meditation: the world was my oyster in the virtual world.
One of my main concerns with goal mission 2 was that the audio and visuals would be lacking, hard to watch, or just plain cheesy, but the sound, clarity, and design of this system is truly unmatched. You feel transported to these virtual and immersive spaces that completely surround you and, from there, you feel powerful and confident enough to face any physical activity, even those that you never thought you would try.
While I might feel insecure trying out a boxing class for the first time in person, the goal mission 2 It gave me the luxury of confidently learning on my own without fear of judgment from viewers or fear of making numerous mistakes. And for those of you who are like me and crash into walls even if you’re just walking around in the real world, the goal mission 2 makes you draw your physical boundaries so you don’t run into objects with your headphones on.
To play it safe, I started with the super popular and well-reviewed Supernatural app, which taught me how to box for the first time. I never knew he would be able to throw a jab or throw a solid right or left hook, but before long, I felt like he was dominating and that he could defend me. With this app, you will feel like you have your own personal trainer thanks to its guided workouts with music and movements that will literally keep you on your toes all the time. Even though some of the workouts are relatively easy to follow, they will still challenge you and make you sweat as you move and jump. I felt like after ten minutes, I had already done more than I normally do in my usual thirty minute workouts.
Another app that I really enjoyed was beat saber, which has you dancing, dodging, and slashing oncoming objects with your virtual lightsabers to fun music from the likes of Lady Gaga and Billie Eilish. Unlike other workouts I’ve done in the past, I didn’t find myself wondering how long I had left or if I could sneak out early without feeling too guilty about doing so. He was engaged and captivated, which made the usually tedious task of working out much more doable.
I also liked using my old stationary bike and combining it with Met Quest 2 to take on the VZfit app, which made me bike through beautiful and immersive terrain around the world, so much better than pedaling and staring at my white walls for a tortuously slow hour.
I could go on with all the different fitness apps available on the goal mission 2, but the truth is that there are excellent training opportunities available in this system. What I appreciate most about the VR system is the fact that even if you don’t aim to exercise that day, you’ll find yourself getting a great deal of exercise just using it, if only for gaming features.
You can also track your daily movement within goal mission 2, and what I was surprised to discover was that even just twenty to thirty minutes of using this tool I was racking up more activity than I normally have in a whole day. It made all the difference in achieving my fitness goals.
At $399, you might be wondering if the goal mission 2 it’s worth the expense as a training tool, but considering the long-term costs of something like a monthly gym membership or expensive boutique-value classes like pilates or yoga, you’ll likely get money up front using goal mission 2. While most of the fitness apps available cost a bit of money, they are very reasonable in price and easily justifiable, especially considering the panoramic views and *almost* addictive workouts available to you with this system.
