The ‘Mismatched’ actor has become a household name, especially among Generation Z. Recently, on the Bharti TV podcast, the content creator spoke about her weight loss journey and how a strict diet actually affected negatively to your body. It’s easy to find people who will open up about weight loss tips and tricks, but it’s also important to know the other side of side effects.
Prajakta Koli Shares Side Effects of Dieting
Weight loss processes are different and different measures affect people differently. While people often opt for strict dietary rules, it didn’t work for the YouTuber. Talking about her weight loss journey, she said: “I actually gained weight but lost fat. There was too much inflammation, bloating and water retention in my body. “Actually my weight was lower before, but since I’ve gained muscle, now I weigh more, but I’m toned.”
Exercise is an important component of your toned physique and fat loss process. She revealed how the diet was actually negatively affecting her. “I can’t diet; Food makes me very happy, I can’t give it up. I tried going on a strict diet once, I think I got clinically sick and I was sad… after the Covid-19 lockdown, I realized I wasn’t very healthy. I couldn’t sleep enough, eat healthy, drink enough water, my skin was bad, my hair fell out, I was tired after walking 4 steps. This is how my fitness journey began. But over time, I discovered that more than my physical health, my mental health depended on fitness and exercise,” mostsane said.

Dynamic and mixed exercise does not help tone the body, reduce overall body fat or strengthen it, this system also adds a bit of fun. Doing the same thing every day can strain that particular body part and also increase boredom.
For Prajakta Koli, the variety of exercises includes cardio routine, strength training, weight training and yoga too. He also prefers homemade and balanced food. The golden rule of hydration is also important. Koli also emphasizes the need to “show up” even on busy days. Consistency can take you a long way.
