Describing the moment he saw the married couple as a “wake-up call”, the presenter admitted that he had “never seen Eamonn so upset before”.
The reality star, 33, detailed her heartbreaking moment in her new memoir Ten: The Decade That Changed My Future, due out later this month.

In excerpts from the book obtained by Sunthe presenter explained how he stayed with his mother, Linda, for three months, after a stay in a private health center.
Following this, she returned to the hospital for a week after suffering a rough patch, leading Linda to secretly communicate with Ruth and Eamonn.
Dubbing them as two of his closest friends in the industry, Rylan wrote, “I remember the look on their faces when they saw me, seeing how seriously ill I was, and then Eamonn was so upset.” She had never seen Eamonn get angry like this before, and it was something of a wake-up call.

‘I remember thinking, ‘Do I look that bad? I’m so bad?’ It was horrible. They stayed with me all day.
The star previously admitted that Ruth and Eamonn were “scared” for him and “shocked” by his fragile state.
In the book, he sadly revealed that he planned to take his own life during a stay in a psychiatric hospital so that Linda would not find his body.

Earlier this week it was revealed that the presenter felt he “couldn’t go on anymore” after his ex-husband Dan left him when Rylan told him he had cheated on him during their relationship.
Rylan revealed that she had been unfaithful to her now ex-partner ‘years ago’, but once she came clean, Dan told her their relationship was over and moved on after six years together.
Describing the time after the breakup, Rylan said in the newly released excerpt that he became “critically ill” and couldn’t eat, sleep and talk “and that he felt like he was “having a stroke or worse.”
She detailed how she “couldn’t stand” living in the house she had shared with Dan, so she moved in with her mother, where she would sit for days in the front room not speaking with the blinds drawn.

The former Celebrity Big Brother housemate, who claims he hasn’t stopped working since his stint on 2012’s The X Factor, confessed he “needed” a break.
He said: ‘It was difficult, but on second thought, yes, I needed to stop. Maybe it was a 10 year merger. I haven’t stopped since the day I entered The X Factor.
‘Nothing stopped. I don’t regret stopping. I feel like if I tried to continue, maybe I could have handled things better from a personal point of view. I do not regret having stopped.
