The report shows that a target has been set all over the world that by the year 2025, a campaign to eat 30 percent less salt will be launched.

More salt in food is making these diseases a victim

WHO’s World Report states that it may take up to 2030 to implement policies to cut salt from people’s diets. Because of which the lives of 70 lakh people in the world can be saved. However, only nine countries – Brazil, Chile, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Spain and Uruguay – have done so. It is very important to make some special rules to eat less salt.

People eat more than double the salt

The average salt intake across the world is estimated to be 10.8 grams per day. By earning this, it is being considered to do 5 grams i.e. one spoon every day. Because the way in which we are currently using salt is more than double according to the ‘World Health Organization’.
