Try these home remedies to get rid of neck pain

 Home remedies to get rid of neck pain

 Hot or cold compress

Hot or cold compress can also help you to get instant relief from sprain or stiffness in the neck. Compressing relaxes your muscles and also increases blood flow in the neck. This will help in reducing the swelling as well as reducing the pain. Apply hot or cold compresses for 10 minutes at a time. Do this at least 2-3 times a day for quick relief. However, if you are having more severe pain, then instead of doing this  consult a doctor immediately.

 Massage with lavender oil

Massaging the neck with lavender oil also reduces neck pain. After bathing with warm water, apply a little lavender oil on the painful area. Massage the sprain or painful area for about 10 minutes. Repeat this daily till the neck pain is completely cured.

Hydrotherapy is another great remedy for neck pain, which can be done easily while taking a bath. The force of water reduces neck sprains and pains. For this, all you have to do is take a shower with warm water for the first three to four minutes at the painful place. It is okay for 35 to 40 seconds to do the same with cold water. Doing this will reduce muscle stiffness and increase blood circulation, which will help reduce swelling and pain.

 हल्दी वाला दूध

 If you are troubled by neck pain, then drink turmeric milk along with hot water compress and massage.  The antibiotic properties and calcium present in turmeric and milk will help you get relief from neck pain. 

सेंधा नमक 

 Rock salt can prove to be very helpful in providing relief from muscle pain. So if you are troubled by neck sprain, then rock salt can help you. Actually, magnesium sulfate is present in rock salt, which naturally helps in reducing swelling and pain of muscles. For this, mix one to two cups of rock salt in a bucket of lukewarm water and take a bath. By doing this for 2 to 3 days, you will get a lot of relief from pain.
