  • Dalia: 1 cup
  • Oil: 2 tsp
  • Onion: 1 (chopped)
  • Carrots: 1 (chopped)
  • Green peas : 2 tsp
  • Green chilli : 1 (chopped)
  • Capsicum: 1 (chopped)
  • Green beans : 5 (cut into small pieces)
  • Roasted peanuts : 2 tsp
  • Cauliflower: 2-3 flowers (chopped)
  • Salt : To taste
  • Turmeric: 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli powder: 1/3 tsp

Note: You can also use dal and gourd

Preparation:

  1. Fry the Dalia on a low flame.
  2. Add oil to a preheated pressure cooker.
  3. Add onion and cook till transparent. Now add the rest of the vegetables, roasted peanuts, spices and roasted oatmeal.
  4. Mix it well. Add 2 cups of water and close the lid of the pressure cooker
  5. Cook it for 2 whistles – first on high heat and second on low flame
  6. Open the lid when cooled, garnish with coriander leaves
  7. Serve it with cilantro sauce; You can also serve it with curd or buttermilk (if not vegan)
