Speaking of a phase of her life that she would rather forget, she says: “Mental health is something that we often neglect and depression comes over you in a very hidden way. I was fine until suddenly I found myself in a very critical mental condition and I tried jump off my building if it wasn’t for my brother saving my life it’s a very slippery slope and can quickly become dangerous I feel mental health should be given more weight than it is given as our careers and busy schedules take us away from that.
I am grateful that I was lucky enough to be pulled out of the dark hole in time and am now well on my way to putting that part of my life behind me. My family and people close to me are the ones who helped me get out of this and I can never thank them enough.”
