Intermittent fasting for at least 18 days from 21:16:8 is the most preferred type of IF. It means you are going to eat for 8 hours and fast for 16 hours, just water nothing else in the fasting window. You can choose for yourself. 15:9 or 14:10 is also fine. For diabetic and low blood pressure patients, even 12:12 is fine (circadian rhythm fasting). (Shutterstock)
