What causes food allergies?
A food allergy can occur when your immune system overreacts to a particular type of food. In fact, there is a protein in our body called immunoglobulin. Different immunoglobulins have different functions. Anything dangerous to the body, such as bacteria, parasites or cancer cells, is identified and eliminated by immunoglobulin E (IgE). When you eat foods that aren’t good for your body, IgE tells your body to respond. Due to which allergy symptoms appear on the body.
