An Instagram user, Keya Irha, revealed that she was admitted to NIMHANS (National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences). She calls it the best thing that ever happened to her. Keya spoke about her struggle with depression for a few years, which peaked in 2021. She knew getting help was something she really needed to do for herself. Without sugar-coating her journey, she let the world know, and her video showed the few moments of happiness she found in NIMHANS, her new friends and the activities she did, and it wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine. . She described the first few weeks as hell, terrifying, lonely and extremely hard. However, she came out the other side feeling much better. The singer thanked the NIMHANS doctors and nurses. Also, letting the world know that while she never wants anyone to be in a state where they have to be admitted to seek help, if someone does, it’s not the worst thing in the world. Instead, she asked them to keep their heads up and heal.
