“Jogging” and “running” are two English words that we apply to the action of covering a distance by jumping from one foot to another. It’s the same movement, but we use the word “jog” when the pace is slower and “run” when the pace is faster.

There’s no official limit, so you don’t need to measure anything to know if you’re a jogger or a runner. It’s okay to call everything a race, even if your pace is slower: you’re going for a run, you’re a runner, you wear running shoes. Some people refer to their slower, more leisurely runs as “jogs” and their faster ones as “sprints.” It’s all the same, so call it what you want.
