Food According To Ayurveda: Our body is made up of five elements, which include earth, water, air, fire and sky. These 5 elements are divided into 7 main chakras of the body. The balance of these five elements and seven chakras makes the body healthy. In ancient times, from Vedas to scholars, everyone has accepted that these 5 elements prove to be helpful in keeping our body and mind happy and healthy. These 5 elements and four substances of nature are necessary to create a balance of life. When they go wrong, your health is affected. That is why it is said that in some way or the other, these five elements must be included in your life.

Five elements are necessary to stay healthy

1- Earth- It simply means the food that is grown on the earth. The food produced on earth is considered the best for our body. You should eat seasonal fruits and vegetables according to your climate. Local food grown here where you live is considered good for health. Therefore, definitely include your local food in the diet.

2- Water- Water is most important to stay healthy. If there is no water for a day, the condition worsens. To stay healthy, drink 3-4 liters of water a day. Also, make a habit of drinking water not too quickly but comfortably. Drink water at lukewarm or normal temperature instead of very hot or cold.

3- fire- To keep the body healthy, it is also necessary to maintain fire. The fire element in the stomach gives energy to our body. This helps in digestion of food. Agni also means energy. Just as the sun is necessary for trees, plants and life on earth, in the same way sunlight and sunlight are necessary for our body too. Sit in the sun for at least 15-20 minutes a day. Due to this there will be no deficiency of Vitamin-D in the body and the body will get energy.

4- Air- Everyone knows how important air is for the body. Air helps to breathe and to keep the body parts healthy. You should do such exercise, so that fresh air goes inside the body. For this, it is necessary to do Pranayama, Kapalbhati or any such yoga for at least 15 minutes in a day in which air gets well in the lungs.

5- Sky- The meaning of this element has been told in Ayurveda, fasting. Our body gets detoxified by fasting for at least 1 day in a month. By staying empty stomach for a day and drinking plenty of water, the dirt accumulated in the body gets out. By taking only fruits or liquid diet during fasting, the body becomes clean from inside.
