It is the best diuretic that helps reduce sugar levels, blood pressure and even cholesterol. It is also good for the liver, kidneys and eyes and is useful in preventing diabetic retinopathy and nephropathy. It also improves metabolism.

How to drink

You can have 2-5g of punarnava on an empty stomach every day.

2.Shunti

Freshly crushed dried ginger powder is the best cardioprotector and wonderful for metabolism. It also reduces general inflammation and is good for the heart.

How to drink

You can take half a teaspoon before meals once a day with warm water.

3. Marich (black pepper)

This readily available herb can help improve insulin sensitivity, digestion, and even lower bad cholesterol and triglycerides, helping you prevent heart attacks, especially in seniors.

How to drink

You can take 1 black pepper a day in the morning.

4. Ella (cardamom)
