ओट्स इडली
Ingredients: 1 cup oats 3 tsp oil/ghee 1 tsp mustard seeds 1 tsp chana dal 1/2 tsp urad dal 1/2 tsp cumin/cumin 1/2 tsp ginger paste 2 finely chopped chilies 1 grated carrot 1/4 tsp turmeric 1/2 cup rava/semolina/ semolina 1/2 cup curd/yogurt 1 cup water 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves 1/4 tsp salt Roast oats in a pan. Grind them in a mixer to make a smooth powder.
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, chana dal and ginger paste. Add finely chopped onions, green chillies, grated carrots and finely chopped coriander leaves. Add turmeric powder and salt as per taste and fry. Now add rava and fry it on low flame. After this add oats powder and mix it with curd. Make a proper idli batter. Pour the batter into greased idli steamer plates and steam for 15 minutes. Serve hot after preparation.
Moong Dal Chilla
Ingredients: 1 cup moong dal 1 chilli 1 inch chopped ginger 1 tsp cumin/cumin ¼ small spoon turmeric 2 tbsp coriander asafoetida ½ Small spoon Salt Water Cooking oil First wash and wash the moong dal and soak it in water for 2-3 hours. Drain the water and put it in a blender. Add chilli, ginger and cumin and mix to make a smooth batter. After this, add turmeric, coriander, asafoetida and salt to the mixture. Blend well. Pour a ladleful of batter on the hot griddle and spread it slowly in a circular motion. Sprinkle some oil on top of the cheela. Cover and let it cook on medium flame. Flip the cheela to cook from both the sides. Serve with green chutney.
