The researchers found that two out of three people reported less than 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity a week and one in 10 reported more than 300 minutes of physical activity a week. The researchers found that people who did more than 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity had a significantly lower risk of developing a disease or dying early. Not only this, the risk of death was also seen reduced by 23 percent in people who did physical activity for 75 minutes every week.

Less likely to get cancer and heart disease

This study suggests that doing 75 minutes of physical activity every week reduces the risk of developing heart disease by 17 percent. The risk of cancer also decreases by 7 percent. Physical activity has been shown to reduce the risk by 14-26 percent in some types of cancer, such as head and neck, myeloid leukemia, myeloma and gastric cardia cancer. Whereas for other cancers such as lung, liver, endometrial, colon and breast cancer, a 3-11 percent lower risk was observed. The study says that it is better to do some physical activity than not doing any physical activity. If you do 75 minutes of physical activity in a week, then the risk of many serious diseases can be automatically reduced.
