Winter’s Effect On Humans: Winter has started. It is starting to feel cold in the morning and evening. Chills are a common thing in winter. Some people are still walking around wearing T-shirts and shorts, while some people find it very cold. Why does it happen that some feel very cold and some feel less? According to experts, the relation of feeling more or less cold is related to your diet, lifestyle and internal capacity of the body. Let us know about this in detail…..
How does it feel cold?
We first feel cold on the skin. Because of this, our cries also stand up. Sometimes fingers also become numb. Our skin is the first to feel the increase in temperature. The thermo-receptor nerves present just under our skin send the message of chills to the brain in the form of waves. Its level and its intensity can vary among people. The waves emanating from the skin go to the hypothalamus of the brain. The hypothalamus helps to balance the body’s internal temperature and environment. Due to the process of creating this balance, our hair stands up and the muscles also start shrinking.
Feeling cold due to hypothermia
The effect of cold is first on the skin. When the nerves present under the skin send the message of coldness to the brain, the brain prevents the temperature inside the body from falling. The brain sends messages to all the organs of the body that the temperature is falling. The brain gives orders to all the internal and external organs of the body to preserve the temperature. After that all the muscles of the body slow down the pace of work. Our body is unable to tolerate too low of temperature. According to experts, if the temperature becomes too low, then many parts of the body stop working. Sometimes a person dies due to multi-organ failure. Feeling too cold is called hypothermia. Because of this, life can also be lost.
