Tiredness: Feeling tired and weak even after taking complete rest can be a symptom of ovarian cancer.
back pain: This can happen when the cancer has spread to the spinal cord. Flatulence, difficulty eating, vomiting, or constipation: These symptoms may be caused by a cancer-causing blockage in the gastrointestinal tract.
Decreased urination: Urinary symptoms may develop due to cancerous blockage in the urinary tract.
Difficulty in breathing: This can be caused by fluid in the abdomen building up in the diaphragm (the muscle responsible for breathing), fluid in the lining of the lungs, or a clot in the blood vessels of the lungs.
It is important to note that having one or more of these symptoms does not necessarily mean that you have ovarian cancer. Who is at risk of ovarian cancer?
Ovarian cancer can occur in women of all ages, but the risk of developing ovarian cancer increases as women age (55 or older). Women with a family history of ovarian or breast cancer may be at an increased risk of developing ovarian cancer.
