World Arthritis Day 2022: World Arthritis Day, an annual celebration dedicated to raising awareness of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases, is observed every day on October 12. Arthritis, inflammatory joint disorder affects the joints and other connective tissues and causes excruciating pain. • Added sugar: You should limit your sugar intake if you have arthritis. Avoid added sugars found in foods like candy, ice cream, soft drinks, etc., including less obvious ones like barbecue sauce.

• Fried meat, Frozen prepared foods, baked goods, prepackaged meals, and snacks are bad for people with arthritis and should be avoided.

• Red and processed meats: Some research links red meat and processed meat to inflammation and may increase arthritis symptoms. Just as the protein in milk and dairy products can irritate the tissue around your joints, the saturated fats in red meat can promote inflammation and raise cholesterol levels.

• Consuming excessive amounts of corn, safflower, sunflower, peanut, and soybean oils, which are rich in omega-6 fatty acids, can harm the health of people with arthritis.

• Saturated fats and advanced glycation end products (AGEs) they are common in mayonnaise, margarine, cream cheese, butter, and cheese, and are best avoided. Consumption of these items should be limited because they promote inflammation.

• Broccoli: Broccoli contains sulforaphane, which is known to have anti-inflammatory properties and helps if you have arthritis.

• Walnuts: It is high in omega-3 fatty acids that can relieve symptoms of arthritis and inflammation.
